Replacing Hitch Rubber Gaiter

I need to replace the rubber gaiter behind the alko hitch does anyone know what the size dowel/pin I need to knock out the bolts through the piston to keep the holes lined up? thanks in advance.

    There are 2 sizes .Depends on the diameter of the shaft.It is possible to retrieve the damper by using a screwdriver to re align shaft with damper .

    Okay thank you , I'll take the front bolt out to get a diameter and make something up.
