14.5bar (210psi) Tyre Pressure? Single axle Adria
Hi...
New to caravans - but bought an Adria Adora Isonzo 2020 last year. Single axle - tows like a dream - no issues.
But... having trouble sourcing a tyre pump capable of checking / topping up the quoted 14.5 bar tyres. Most max out at 10bar.
So I searched around - and from what I've found online suggests the quoted 14.5bar is beyond most other makes? Aware it's a big van - and running on single axle I'm aware they will be high - but seems a lot.
Anyone else have a van similar? Any recommendations for sourcing a pump capable?

I thought the same! Stamped on a plate next to the tyres is "14,5 bar". Before I saw that I connected by car's tyre pressure gauge to the wheels - and it flew right off the scale (that measures upto 60psi).
Currently being serviced at the dealers - will ask them - and add some more details about the wheels etc.

Mmm - got me thinking I'm mad now. Could that be a letter before the pressure? So it's ?4.5bar - where the ? looks like a 1?

Back to tyre inflators, I can recommend the Michelin Superfast, from Halfords not the cheapest but is fast and takes mine to 64psi without any problem. Currently a mains or 12V version I use mains its relatively large so only use at home have a Ring in the boot of the car but this struggles so only for emergencies.

Re inflators - If you want to keep it simple just buy a cycle track pump. You are only ever going to add a few PSI, it will take minutes and is totally silent. I am in my late 60s and it is no effort. Not everything requires a complicated electronic answer.

You could search on tyres for 8PR, LRD or D-load, then maxload can be carried upto 99mph /160kmph AT 4.5 bar/450kPa/ 65 psi.
Mostly that AT pressure is also given on sidewall.
Does not say you need that pressure for yours.
I am able to calculate a safe highest pressure without bumping your srews loose or things all over the place after the ride.
Need weight of TT ( also called Caravan in UK?)and howmany wheels on the ground( 2 or 4) when driving. Edit : already saw single axle in your opening post, so 2 wheels on the ground( and spare and nosewheel off the ground when driving)
Also tyre-specifications. Maxload , AT pressure and speedcode. If N ( 140kmph/87mph) I substract 2 loadindex steps to give tyre a deflection needed for 160kmph/99mph, to get that pressure with maximum reserve.
Even trucktires dont have AT- pressure higher then 130 psi/ 9 bar. So the 14.5bar must be a misreading, aa you already concluded.

OK - quick update to admit how much of a plonker I've been. The label next to the wheel does say 14.5bar... but only from a distance! If you actually look at it - the "1" is in fact a picture of a tall air pump. Exactly the same size, width as a "1" would look.
So - it's 4.5bar! Sorry for the dumb question - and the time you took to reply.

For clarity 1bar = 14.5 psi
