    You are not alone, we are taking a similar stance. It seems impossible to predict when a) sites will be open and b) when restrictions will be lifted. I appreciate some need the comfort of those maybe bookings but we will wait until there is a clearer way forward. That might not be until there is a clearer view of whether the vaccine is working which hopefully it will be and it will be the pathway to a more normal life. We might have to take pot luck as far as sites are concerned but so be it.

    Actually, we are doing something very unusual for us, having something booked, and even more so the fact that it is on Club Sites. I’m honest enough to admit that if things don’t feel safe enough though, we won’t go.

    At the moment it’s merely about a change of scenery for us, and we have already accepted that visiting some places, eating out won’t be happening. But I don’t think I will be fully vaccinated before August, so need to make some safe possible plans. Our destinations, sites could change, all is subject to compromise. Sites aren’t that far from home, all within three hours.

    We enjoyed having a break after lockdown last year, we chose carefully, enjoyed being somewhere different, didn't expect too much and it was good to get away.

    Our bookings for this year start well after the Easter school holidays, I hope families can get away and if posssible we'll follow on. If it doesn't happen we won't worry too much but it's nice to travel in hope.

    We don’t usually go away when schools are off brue, and waited while September last year. But I don’t think anyone at this stage has a clue what might be happening after Feb half term, so decided to go for it. Dropped for mid week dates, between the Bank Holidays, so fingers crossed they are back.

    I've been trying to book for clumber park for early 22 for weeks now and nothing past new years week is open.  I've also been trying to change a booking for May/ June this year and it won't let me amend my booking at all...ant ideas / help welcome.

    Let’s hope it is for some refurbishment work on the toilet blocks, they are certainly in need of it. I was going to ask when we visit in May. However, you could email Head Office.

    As to not being able to amend. Possibly a gremlin, this site is riddled with them.☹️ However, are you sure what you are trying to amend is possible. If it’s additional days, are they actually available for your pitch type. Or do you have them booked at another CAMC site, if so you will have to cancel those first.
