Club Covid cancellation letter

Hi, difficult times.  

Rather than send out a blanket.

"Thank you for cancelling your UK Club Site Booking with Caravan and
Motorhome Club. This ensures your pitch is available for another member."

Imagine if the two happy campers that are booked in are working hundreds of miles apart and each wonder why the hell the other has cancelled?

Totally understandable would be something like.  "Due to Covid the Club has had to etc."

Stay safe all, back on the road soon(ish).

    Are you trying to say the club sent out incorrectly worded emails? If so, that's nothing new.😁

    Got one of those e mails today. I didn’t cancel they did.

    Yes, this is the norm... as per 1st lockdown....

    Club cancels the booking but emails state; "thank you for cancelling....."

    That's the thing when you both work on different ships with 15 to 30 mins of comms each day at different times.  Relax.

    I doubt the club can consider such unusual circumstances but that doesn’t excuse the continued use of inappropriately worded emails.
