Anyone watching Andrew Marr's programme "New Elizabethans" ? It's an interesting take on the influential people of the current Queen's reign. It traces the history of the UK from the start of the Queens reign until now. Throws up some interesting characters, some well known others not so.

Will have a look at that DK. I enjoy Andrew Marr’s documentaries.

We caught Michael Palin’s look back over his travels last night, excellent, my how the World has changed.

Interesting mix of analysis and nostalgia.

AM’s The Making of Modern Britain was very good, both book and TV documentary. He’s an excellent journalist.
