Booking at Chatsworth House
I have just tried booking a 2 week stay at Chatsworth House Club Site, I was astounded to discover that there is NO availability until the 3rd week in December 2021!!!
All the week-ends are booked out throughout the year making it impossible to book a longer stay. Surely this is not in the clubs interest. The site will be half empty Monday to Thursday. As we live in southern England it is not reasonable for us to go for a few days and being retired we like to go for at least 2 weeks at a time. Really disappointed and will now how to look elsewhere if we want to go to that area.

I can see weekend availability in January, February, August and October 2021 as well as December.
This is a very popular site and booking on a 12 month rolling basis has been ongoing for some time so you may have missed the boat.
You can’t blame working folk for grabbing the weekends while they can. Most of us did similar when we had to work.

It's a concern often raised. Assuming you are happy to have a bit of a play with a degree of patience you could try what I do. Decide the two weeks you want and book any available days. Keep going back to check for any cancellations and book days as they become available. It often works for me. Only thing I would add is if this works make sure you phone the site before arrival day so they can add all the days together under one booking to save confusion and delay on booking in.

It's a popular (honey pot) and we go there often but you have to book as soon as the pitches are released. It's only 20 miles from home and we can get there in half an hour but we try to get in as many weekends as possible. I worked near there for many years and really don't need to take the van but we love it so much.
Keep persevering. Sometimes, when we've wanted to go, it's been fully booked but we've never not got in. Do as David says and check the site often, particularly in the two weeks before you actually want to arrive and by picking up odd nights here and there you will, hopefully, get what you want.

The other thing to bear in mind is that Chatsworth Estates run a lot of events through the year, many of them at weekends. So folks book for these as well as soon as dates are known.

We wanted Rowntree Park for xmas and new year it took numerous bookings for odd days to get all the days needed,
Ps we have since cancelled as our plans have changed we have a booking at another site closer to home for the same period ,

Yes, it was on our local TV last night. They cannot allow visitors into house at moment, so are raking in the cash doing illuminated garden tours, for locals only at the moment. Looked a nice visit, no idea of cost though. I worked on a couple of illuminated events at Brodsworth Hall as a volunteer, very popular.
To OP, I would book your dates as much as you can, and then hope any missing come up. But it is busy in week as well as weekends at Chatsworth, lots of the villages around have mid week events during the year. My SIL lives in Bakewell and it’s usually heaving with visitors in the week due to Markets, Festivals, Craft Events etc....
Site is easy access for some big conurbations as well, Sheffield, Derby, Nottingham, so always busy.
Never been ourselves, we prefer some of the nice CLs around.

Yes you have picked a honeypot site, and just to copy what David Klyne mentioned earlier,on a recent booking to the New Forest centenary site for August this was made up of three separate bookings to make over a week.I was being held out by a mid week unavailbility.
With constant attention it became available. You will be surprised with how quickly bookings can change.
One other point is the Castleton site is only 9 miles away, but that is a honeypot site as well.
There is a lovely CL in Tissington as well.
