Market Rasen site
Just had an email from the warden at Market Rasen affiliated site. From 8th March 2021, it will no longer be part of the Club network. No reason given. Interesting!

As the owners also have Exeter, Warwick and Cheltenham among their courses I wonder if the decision to leave the club network will equally apply to those?
Did the email state that they intend to continue with the touring side of things at the racecourse?

Market Rasen is an AS run by The Jockey Club while Exeter, Warwick, Cheltenham and others are leased by the club from the course owners and operated by the club.
Hopefully the others won't go the same way as Wincanton did when the JC ended the leasing arrangement with the club yet chose not to run the site themselves.😦
The info on the site page implies that Market Rasen will continue as a bookable site, just not as an AS.

Spot on Tinny. We miss Wincanton, great little Site.
Can just recall staying at MR when it was part of Trax network back in 1980,s. Some of the Racecourses make a good job of providing a private Site. We enjoyed Hexham earlier this year.
Thats another Site lost to Club though, not good☹️

Wincanton was a fabulous spot and ideal for breaking the journey down the A303/A30. Sadly missed.
At least it appears MR will still function for those who want to visit.
