Just read the awful news that Nobby has died.

    Sorry to read this, although not a footie fan, I do remember watching Nobby play in the 1966 World Cup Final.

    And socks around his ankles! Yes, that will be my abiding memory of him too. A much underrated but essential part of those great England and United teams.

    As you say Moulesy, much underrated but never by those he played against.  100% given every time he walked on the pitch,
