With all of Nottinghamshire being placed in tier 3 from Friday this will affect Clumber Park and also Milestone sites. This is set for 28 days so anyone booked on may want to contact the site.

Wrong, JVB, this is from the BBC News website

"Nottinghamshire's auction houses, car boot sales, betting shops, saunas and tattoo parlours must close, the government has announced.
The measures were revealed as it was confirmed the whole county would move into tier three at 00:01 on Friday.
Alcohol cannot be sold after 21:00 GMT in shops, but can be sold until 22:00 if bought "in hospitality venues where accompanying a substantial meal".
Hotels can remain open, as can gyms and leisure centres."

I guess it will take the club a day for so to get up to speed and sort out it's sites in the county.

Just had the thought that the club will keep the sites open for residents of Nottinghamshire only, as they have done with Southport etc.

If you look at my location that will tell you that I may have been right. I posted as a warning and wouldn't post anything that was doubtful.

All of Nottinghamshire will move to Tier 3 from 00.01 Friday morning.  I've just cancelled our last two weekends away of the year as they were both within the next 28 days.

We've been into Derbyshire for a few days coming back yesterday and I've never seen the Chatsworth site with so many empty pitches, even last weekend.

Chatting to a warden as I was preparing to leave yesterday and he was telling me that they have to check where people live and ring them up and cancel them if they don't cancel themselves.  People who live in Tier 3 are not allowed to stay away overnight. It's only allowed if you arrive before the area in which you live moves to Tier 3.

Very confusing for site staff.....We arrived for a short stay at a site last week ...Warden initially refused us entry as she just just heard (literally that day)...our Post Code was moving into Tier 3 in four days time. After a somewhat difficult discussion (we knew the rules) the warden sought further clarification (I presume regional manager), apologised and allowed us on site...

Apparently, if you arrive on a site before the area you live in moves to Tier 3, you can stay. You cannot, however, arrive on a site from an area that is already Tier 3 unless the site you're staying on is also in Tier 3 (if it's still open of course).

That's my understanding of the position from a warden yesterday.

Just had a call from our friends who live in Nottinghamshire at Top Lodge until Sunday they are going home today as the tier three county wide lockdown is to be "reviewed in 28days,and they say it is crazy as tthe A1 side of the county has very low infection rates, it is where the Uni and  students are that it is bad, and were not (as advised by their county leaders)expecting a county wide tier 3 which covers where they live and Worksop (Clumber Park )Newark (Milestone site)but according to some other wardens the two sites should stay open for Notts residents only

Apparently, they've introduced a countywide lockdown due to hospital admissions. In the north of the county (fortunately where i am) although infection rates are on the rise, the worry is the number of admissions.

In addition, the rates in the city are starting to fall but they're having to cancel operations in the two big city hospitals to be able to manage Covid infections. The problem with the county is you have 50,000 students in Nottingham itself plus workers commuting in, and in the north we're very close to Sheffield, again with 50,000 students and commuters.

The site details pages have updated info for particular locations. No doubt CAMC will update any sites affected in the next few hours.
