Any advice on how to drain flush tank to prevent any remaining water from freezing and causing damage to pump. Our Thetford toilet had drainage tube but cannot seem to find any with our Dometic.

thank you

Why not pump it out into the cassette, then empty that?

Our last caravan (Elddis) had a Dometic toilet which had no drain pipe. It also took its flushing water supply from the caravan fresh water system. No header tank.

Despite running the toilet flush until water had run out, it left a residual amount of water in the internal pipes and during the first winter cracked a connector when frozen.

In the end I had to resort to making sure I lifted out the base of the toilet case and disconnected the pipes to ensure it drained away for winter. They were crimp type hose clamps which I changed for Jubilee clips.

Not a major job but not made for convenience.
