Towing Mirrors & Protector

Good afternoon all, we are both excited and nervous here.  Just confirmed we pick up our new and first van on the 5th.  Think we have acquired or ordered the essentials from discussions on here and YouTube.  We are heading to Oban on the 10th for 4 nights as our first adventure and then Whitley Bay & Windermere for 4 nights each in October.

I am a bit confused though as to which mirrors to buy/use?  My car is a 2020 Audi A4 Estate.  Does anyone have the same and can advise or any guidance at all would be greatly appreciated.

Also, can I gauge thoughts on a towing protector.  Seen some comments but I’ve also seen some warnings and a few saying to steer well clear.  I would appreciate some experienced advice please.

    I use Milenco mirrors that clamp on to my VW Tiguan, they are excellent.  Why not try the various alternatives when you pick up your caravan; you never know, you may get them free or at a discountsmile.  Can't help on protectors I do not have one.
