Covid App - Booking In

We will all have had an email telling us that we must use the covid tracing app to book in at club sites. I hope there is an alternative method as we don't intend downloading the app and leaving blue tooth on all the time.
There's no mention of an alternative in the email. Will we be barred from using club sites?
