    You don't take the wheels off, Just Jack up until you see about 60mm clearance between the tyre and wheel box and put on axle stands, thus relieving the constant pressure being applied to the axle rubbers. Takes 5mins long term saving anywhere between £800-£1400 bill everytime it fails.

    I’ve just been accepted on the FB page. 
    Having outlined my concerns I’ve received  a reply to the effect that despite my axle having a 2018 date sticker, (3 years after the van manufacture), it’s likely that it’s only a like for like replacement and not an upgraded model..

    No wonder my hair has turned white! 😞
