The club is showing GPS data in the directory but in Decimalised format. My satnav and Google Maps and Earth use the full data as Deg.Min.Sec. Is there a way to harmonise the data so that what the club show in the Directory can be used without further research?

Does it allow for it to be changed in the satnav settings?

I dont think so. I have searched the satnav manual and there doesn't seem to be such a facility. I prefer to keep the format as it is because its the same as Google, so I can search Google Earth (for example) and use the format from it in the satnav.

Google will handle either. Deg/Mins/Secs or decimals. You just type it in the appropriate format. Perhaps your sat nav is capable of that. Incidentally on my iPad google maps gives a decimal lat/long. I have never set it up to do that, so I assume it must be the default.

I am surprised you cannot change the format in you'resat nav. If you post what type of sat nav it is someone may know how to change it if it is possible.
