How to "check-in" NHS QR Code at Club Sites
Last week, the UK Government introduced the new NHS QR code system within England and Wales in addition to the current Track & Trace procedure which is already in use at all Club sites. This new system allows individuals to download a Government App and then scan a code within hospitality venues, to “check in” to the venue. There's a discussion on the app here. The app is entirely voluntary, and whilst not a requirement for members to “check in”, the Club, and other campsites or holiday parks, are legally bound to display the new NHS QR Code posters at its campsites.
To "check-in" at one of our Club Sites, simply open the app and select the "Venue check-in” option. The app will use your camera to scan the QR code.
We feel strongly that containing outbreaks at an early stage and reducing the ability for the COVID virus to spread is ultimately beneficial to us all and are asking our members and guests to support the use of the new system. For all of our COVID updates, see our FAQs page.

Someone staying on Club site may perhaps get a message via the app saying they have been in close contact with a Covid infected person and that they should self isolate.
Is the Club prepared for them to stay where they are on the site and bring them food daily?

A bit mean perhaps, I would have thought that a pitch provided adequate spacing to accommodate social distancing and that then one could rely one supermarket deliveries, using on board facilities and have a quiet lie in.
Granted there would be the occasion when use of club TBs were needed but with hand gel, masks etc., that should not be a problem.

I must admit I am a little puzzled ( bit like Boris 😂) by the QR check in at venues. The function is part of the App, which is supposed to tell you if you have been in close proximity (for a certain length of time) to someone who later reports a positive test. I know everyone won't have or use the App and will check in by other means. However, are they really going to contact everyone on a camp site, where folk are socially distancing, if one member reports positive.
As to quarantine, it clearly states on all the signage that if you developed symptoms you are to leave and return home. This seems very sensible to me. It would be easy enough to remain isolated on the journey home and it's a much easier place to quarantine than a campsite.

You don't see it as a problem for someone either with symptoms, or who has been in contact with an infected person to be on site using the facility block and service point? Not to mention meeting the supermarket delivery driver at the gate! 😤😨

Depends on how far it is home and whether you have a full tank of fuel.

Whilst my Husband & I fully support this added COVID-19 security measure & could we have done, we would have happily used it on our recent stay at Penrhos (Anglesey).
Unfortunately, my I-phone (being an older version), is unable to download the NHS Track & Trace App; My Husband however has already successfully downloaded it to his I-phone. The only way I could get this App is by purchasing a new phone which I do not wish to do.
I’m the main Member on our ‘joint’ Membership with my Hubby being the named Member.
Would he be able to scan the QR Code on his phone during any future check-ins? Or would he have to set up a Membership in his own right with me being the named Member? Or could we keep the same Membership Number & simply swap him to being the Main Member with me as the named one?Regards & thank you

Been away in the Van since 30/8/20, staying at various Club sites in Wales, Lake District, Scotland, we are now on New England Bay until 4th October, always only using our Van's facilities, just had one of the jigsaw pieces of our return journey removed !
Lady Margaret Park just cancelled our 2 night booking, luckily I noticed the e mail and managed to book 2 nights at Coed y Wynn, hopefully they wont get closed down by the Welsh Government, our final destination is Fishguard. All too far to travel in 1 day.
