Hello all.  We have a 2002 Lunar Stellar with a truma compact pump.  This is a poor fit and often gushes water straight out onto the pitch instead of into our water system.  So we decided to change it and have bought the Truma conversion kit with bayonet fitting from submersible pump into van housing.  We have carefully removed the old housing and replaced it with the new.  However, the pump does not activate when switch on.  We have 12v power onto van ok and the pump light comes on but no pumping.  What could we have done wrong?  Wiring from inside the van to the new housing is orange and white.  Presume orange is live and white is neutral!  Hope someone can help.  😟

Have you tried just reversing the wiring to the pump housing in case you have got it the wrong way?

Or just use a multimeter if you see a dash in front of voltage you have the test leads the wrong way round

Have you disturbed the pressure switch? It is a small switch probably under the bunk near the inlet. It has a knurled knob on top. See if the pump starts to work when you screw the knob down. Turn it too far and the pump will not switch off.
