Whale Watermaster I.C

My present caravan is fitted with the 'Whale Watermaster I.C.' system.

This comprises of an external water tank into which is placed a pump, water is then fed into the caravan system.

I have had many problems with this system and would like to convert to a fixed pump located inside the caravan.

Has anyone done a similar conversion?

The stages to converting are:

1. Internal pump fitting. (no problem)
2. Getting a water connection through the caravan wall. (Use existing I.C plug or fit a new type of plug).

3. Hose from caravan to water container (use existing pipe with pump on the end. Fit pipe from push on connection at caravan and fit some kind of filter where pipe is in external water container.

I would like to add that Whale have been very helpful in helping me with the problems I have had but having problems everytime I use the caravan has made me look at alternatives.

Our van came with the type of system you want to achieve.

In the Aquaroll we have what we  call a water uptake......basically a pipe like the pump had but with a small grit filter on the end.

The onboard pump has its own grit filter too, no need for any other filter.

I would suggest you also fit an accumulator to smooth the water flow, and if the pump is noisy there are some steps you can take.

    Thanks for the reply KjeIINN.

I had not considered an accumulator. Something else to investigate.

    Thank you.
