I know some people have complained about it being difficult to book sites but to be honest we have never found that to be an issue. We have just booked Englethwaite Hall for 5 nights on a serviced pitch next month .We had Ramslade booked the same week but had to change our plans ,so we cancelled Ramslade .Done on line without any problems. Are we just lucky 😉🤔

I agree with you if your willing to wait to the last few days
Then there is loads of weekend cancellation and mid week usually is not that much of a problem

I couldn’t agree more, I have always found it simple to use and normally get the serviced pitches that I would like. You sometimes have to wait until the site you want becomes available but it normally does

I would say your experience is the norm, BJ, but people don't generally come on forums to tell others that all is well. The vast majority of threads about booking tend to be from those few who couldn't achieve what they wanted and feel the need to moan about it.

"I got the booking I wanted" and "My new caravan is fault free" don't make for lively discussions so are rarely seen on forums😄. You bucked the trend with your positivity 👍

We have never found a problem with the cc booking system ,check late availability if need be for up to 3 weeks in advance if the site you want has pitches then it will almost certainly have pitches for longer periods .it has worked for us even on "honey pot "sites,

A call to the site is also a second way of possibly getting the pitches if needed wink    "it pays to talk"cool

Just booked five nights Mon-Fri at Minehead for mid October, hopefully before the half-term rush arrives. I note that the confirmation appears to show the price without the VAT adjustment. Presumably it all comes out in the wash later.
