Poor rubberband compliance amongst men at Clumber

We are currently at Clumber Park site for the weekend and the Caravan and Motorhome team here are working their socks off to keep us safe. However despite them rigorously going through the use of rubber bands when using the toilets on multiple occasions using the toilets I encountered various situations where the rules where not being adhered to re covid 19 prevention.

Example, I see one rubber band hanging on the hook, this tells me that there was one other person using the toilet block. I hand my band up go in and find all 3 toilet cubicles in use and one shower. That means there are 4 of us in here not 2, then two mire come in that makes 6 and are 3 are queuing inside the block for 3 occupied toilets.

Several variations occurred over the weekend but I have to tell you its not children or the young who are the offenders its late middle aged men in their 50’s and 60’s who are. How the club resolves this I dont know but something needs to be done.

Hi Phil ,I’m afraid it’s the same old same old ,totally irresponsible and selfish people really not taking heed of the seriousness of the situation. We have been away about 6 times this year and we will not use site facilities any more no matter how clean and well run they look .We just use our on board facilities and where possible book a serviced pitch to make it easier .
