Could I suggest different areas for different interests? A family area with playground; an adult area for those seeking peace and quiet. A "pod" area for non-touring guests. Placed well away from each other with planting or shower buildings in between. This would help ease the irritation and tension between "pod'ers" and tourers :-)

Morris Leisure are pretty good at doing just what you describe.

Well, we had a great time with our daughter and grandchildren at M-I-M, last (long) weekend. They stayed in a ‘pod’, and we in our van. The pods are far enough away not to bother regular campers, but close enough for making get-togethers easy. I really don’t understand the objections? I do think the ‘pod’ area could do with a bit of ‘tarting up’ though.

I do agree with those members who question the investment in Glamping Pods.

I see VERY little benefit to members....but there again are WE members...?

WE seem to have ferry little say in what the CMC is doing.

The emphasis these days seems to be more about making money more than making memories.

There is no spare space that does not involve entering the sites save for a few late night arrival areas at some sites .

I am sure I have seen members on here say they have used some of this accommodation as a change from their normal means. I think the Club is looking to the future and trying to appeal to a younger demographic who may not want to own a caravan or motorhome but might be attracted to static accommodation. Looking to the future we don't know how the move to electric vehicles will impact on our hobby. Hard as it might be to believe by judging how we do things today but the last thing the Club wants is to end up with 200 empty sites because people have given up on towing!!!
