ATC activation
I've had my 2017 Lunar Clubman SR for a year now. When I plug in the towing electrics to the car I can hear the ATC go through a check.
Just lately, after the van is disconnected from the car I can hear the ATC go through a check when I connect the site mains lead to the van. Anyone have any ideas why it might do this. Thanks Kevin.

I am not 100% sure about the details of this but my comments may trigger a more detailed response.
I am sure it definitely should not do that. Are you sure there is nothing else in the van that could make a similar noise, does the green light on the ATC come on?
I believe there is an electrical (occupation) relay which disconnects the caravan 12V supply from the 12v feed from the car, this means that the car supply is just feeding the fridge & the ATC. It sounds to me like this relay is not operating or is stuck and your caravan 12v circuit is being fed back through the relay and operating the ATC.
The problem with my theory is that I can't see why you would not be experiencing the problem whenever the caravan main switch is on and not just when the EHU is connected, unless the relay I mentioned also disconnects the mains charger in the van from the car fed battery charging circuit.
