just bought a new swift quattro fb asked my dealer to fit ATC says its can only be fitted at factory ?   you should ask when you order a new van  ours was in his stock

surely a main dealer should have the ability to fit it !!!!!

    We had ATC fitted by the dealer (Davan)

    There is no reason why ATC cannot be retro fitted, Alko used to do it at their Warwickshire premises so it might be worth giving them a ring.

    AL-KO ATC Retro Fit
    If your caravan doesn’t come with the AL-KO ATC stabilisation system fitted you can have it retrofitted. This video below from Practical Caravan goes through the installation, adjustment and testing process for the ATC system.

    To be fair, I thought I read somewhere that it was factory fit only, but was assured by the dealer that this was not the case.

    We ordered ATC for our Pegasus in 2016 but the dealer did not put it on ther order, and it was delivered without ,but a an ATC was couriered to our dealer who "advised" it is "easy to fit" and they did it

    The video above gives some idea of what is involved and the fit was said to take an hour for an experienced fitter

    Common dealer trick. Safety is one of if not the biggest driver in choosing a van spec. I am pretty sure he will have the next level up spec version of your van with ATC fitted as standard. He will be happy to sell you that one.

    We had ATC fitted to our new 2019 Swift Challenger at the supplying dealer Highbridge Caravans in Somerset.
