TV Points

HI,

 

I have a Compass Casita 550 with a TV point in the Bedroom and in the Lounge.  I can tune in the TV in the bedroom, but cannot tune in the TV when its in the lounge. I have to run the cable from the bedroom.  I have checked the wiring behind the lounge arial plug and it is wired up.

Do i have to do something to swap the input at the box or should it run both sockets as standard?

    We have the Svenson/Avtex booster which has the input connection into the very left terminal then the power supply in and then 4 outputs with the third terminal to connect a tv in the awning.

    do you have a vision plus in the cupboard under where the tv aerial is fitted as some only have 1 tv out connection and some have 2 tv out sockets. If 1 then check to see if there is a loose lead in there and try swapping them but if 2 connections are they both being used for bedroom and lounge. some amps have 3 outlet sockets.

    We've had the same problem as the OP on 2 different caravans. It's been the way they have been connected up on both cases. OH has had to swap cables over and on one he had to do something to a connection under the front seat, I think it was a splitter or something.
