hi there,

since late May we have used our Bailey Pursuit as our home whilst parked in the front garden of our cottage we’re renovating.

The standard Blaupunkt TV mates to the on-board Vision Plus booster, aerial and co-ax cable has all worked fine. Until about an hour ago.

last night all was fine. TV switched off c.2300hrs. Switch on today c. 1715hrs... nothing. No signal even after several auto tune attempts. All connections firm and secure.

Aerial pointing in same direction it has since May.

No reported faults at the Waltham transmitter.

Ideas anyone?

thanks

As you are able to attempt auto tune on the TV the problem is probably from the ae connection on the TV to the ae on the top of the caravan, therefore the caravan side of things. I assume you have checked that you have not accidently turned off the power switch on the booster box!  Has fuse blown on 12v supply booster box - you should see a red light on the box if ok and turned on. Try depowering everything TV, booster box by disconnecting power supply; leave a minute or so and try again.  Are you able to check by connecting  another TV?  Good luck.

Thanks for the reply. The usual Blue power light on the booster is lit and connections to it are secure.

i have switched the TV and booster on and off for a while to no avail. We don’t have another TV to connect or another length of co-ax so will ask around and try again.

Good to hear.  The depower everything for a time is a useful trick if something happens to other complex kit.  Occasionally my BTTV box decides not to work; the depower trick always cures the problem.
