Hi on club site how do you dispose of hot charcoal as no metal bins and can still be hot the next day

    I would think that water would help to cool it down ,but then if you ask the site staff that could also helpwink

    I have not had expensive barbecues bot I have lined the bowl with heavy duty foil and just folded the foil over and left in the barbecue behind the caravan overnight.

    That's what we did back when we used to use charcoal ones. Cutting off the oxygen very rapidly cools it down. After starting caravaning, we fairly quickly switched to gas.

    Some sites DO have a metal bin for BBQ charcoal. Even then I always add water to the coals later in the evening and bin it the next morning, but we do also use gas more often these days.
