Toilet flush water
With the newer caravans having a separate toilet flush filler, seperate from the cassette cubicle. We are seeing more and more people using watering cans to fill their flush. From the drinking water taps. Now personally I think this is totally outrageous and should not be happening. When you question people about it they can't see a problem with this, as it is not in direct contact with the toilet. Am I missing the point here, or do people really think there's nothing wrong with this. Would like to know where the club stands on this. And if it is not acceptable, can they inform all centre chair persons, and get them to let the members know and start enforcing the rule. Regards Darran.

Absolutely. There is no problem. It’s not like pouring water directly into the bowl or the cassette. The flush compartment is sealed by a one way valve.
How would the OP feel about flushes that use water from the van's own inboard water tank? Yes, they do exist.
Centre Chairpersons - I’ve never been anywhere near mine.

Newer caravans? My first caravan 21 years ago had this feature.
I can't see the problem at all.

Just a thought. Doesn’t the flush water at home come through the same pipes as our drinking water? 🤣🤣🤣🤣

I used a 10 litre water carrier to fill the flush on our caravan. Same one as used to top up aquaroll. On our MH the flush comes from the main 100 litre water tank, which on occasions (when stopping a few days and not wanting to move the van) I have topped up with a watering can.
This has to be a wind up.
