Bailey Pursuit 540 No Water
Hi all, just purchased our first ever caravan and just going through the set up before we go on our first adventure. I can't get water out of either cold or hot. Any help or advice would be great.

Place full aqua roll by inlet ,put pump in container before connecting to c/van (reduces chances of air lock), 12v and pump turned on at control pannel open all taps ,to allow air to escape from pipes and water heater to fill (10ltrs?)
Ps i take it you have a battery fitted.and or or are hooked up to mains power ? is the pump running
try that or explain a bit more

We have it on the drive hooked upto the mains. everything is switched but no water is being drawn from the container could it be a faulty pump that goes into the container

Can you hear the pump running?
Is it swtched on at the panel?
Are the 12volt switches on?
Is the pump connector pushed fully into the housing?
What pressure switch is fitted it might just not be adjusted ? check hand book
Check 12v fuses for the pump fuse

Can you hear the pump doing anything? If nothing, probably power not getting to pump or jammed pump. Ensure pump is connected correctly to caravan, it should be clicked in securely. Try cleaning all the terminals where the pump connects to the caravan. Try turning the bottom of the pump - there is a white bit there - with some pointed pliers, it may be jammed. Fuse? There will be a dedicated one for the pump. If all fails and if you purchased from a dealer back to him to sort out, it is usually an easy fix
Silly after thought. You do have a battery fitted and master on. Do internal, 12v lights, work? Sorry if this is a dumb question.

Yeah we have a 12v fitted as well everything else works in the caravan. Just tested it on a battery and its doing nothing. Its a Truma Ultraflow. So hopefully i can pick one up tomorrow. And start again.

I have just three days ago replaced truma ultra Flo water pump as mine packed up van is this year's Adria Adora not very impressed with the trauma unit especially as replacement cost £60 and doesn't seem to have a great flow in shower.

When you do get it going don't open all the taps at once. As mentioned above you need to fill the water heater first, do this by only opening one or more hot taps. When you get water from the hot taps then open the cold taps, you'll probably get water from them almost straight away.
It can take a while to fill the water heater 10 litres is a quarter of your average aquaroll
FWIW I open the hot water tap at the sink first then the shower and lastly the one at the wash hand basin but then I'm a bit of a nerd😋
