Edinburgh Hogmanay Party Cancelled

For those planning on going to Edinburgh at new year the council announced last week this years event has been cancelled. There will be a further announcement in August, those who already have tickets will be refunded. No news on the Christmas Market yet. Cannot say i am surprised.

    Thanks for info ,was a bit miffed that the Club site was fullfrown ,not so miffed nowwink

    IMHO that will not be the only one in the UKundecided

    So were we and we tried to book when there at new year just gone! Yes, this year will be difficult albeit outdoor markets as such are allowed, it will be crowd control/social distancing that will be the challenge. Apparently there may be mini events across the city into the suburbs.

    This is unsurprising, but sad, news.

    I suspect that it will quite rightly be a while more before events like this can happen.
