Door lock barrel

The door lock barrel on my Swift Challenger has started coming out of the cylinder when locking the door.  Instead of the key coming out, it pulls the lock barrel out as well!

Does anyone hAve any suggestions or dealt with this before.  I assume a clip has come away holding it in but don’t want to start dismantling e whole lock as away currently.  I have attached some pictures.

    There was a post running in this section a few weeks ago with the same problem but on the battery box door.  Several solutions were suggested.  Dismantle the lock to give access to the inside of the barrel.  When I looked at my battery box door lock I saw that there seemed to be 'claws' gripping the inside of the barrel.  I tightened up the screws holding the locking mechanism in and this secured the barrel.  Others suggested fitting an 'O' ring type thing around the barrel maybe made of wire.   Don't know what you can do without dismantling except  to live with it until you get home.

    UPDATE.  Apparently I am now told this is (yet again) a known fault on a generation of Swifts.  So I have a caravan that is at risk of departing from the bulkhead, brakes subject to two warranty claims and a dodgy lock.  There is even a You a You Tube video on it In case anyone is interested.  https://youtu.be/WEU0A8QgKss

    The  dealer can supply a new cylinder but claims to not be able to match the same as the other locks so I get two keys!!  When pressed they have agreed to look into it!  

    You wouldn’t have a car dealership and manufacturer behave like this me thinks.

    I has a similar thing on the battery box of my Rambler. The when taking the handle apart, the door frame has a moulded section with plastic claws. These claws are worn and broken thus not holding the lock. 

    My solution was to put an internal circlip into the groves section of the barrel. The circle sat on top of the claws effectively holding the barrow in place. When the rest of the claws break, i will make a plastic spacer to take up the gap. The alternative is to fit a new box door.
