Hi - are all playgrounds on club sites closed at present?  We're (hopefully) heading into Scotland in a couple of weeks time.  Just wondering if I need to check in with each one individually to try and find somewhere with playground open for our little lad.......

    On the two Devon sites we've just visited the playgrounds were taped off to prevent use so best to check wherever you plan to visit.

    It looks like they’re all closed.

    You can check the Scottish Government website for guidance but it will be up to each individual playground owner to make their own risk assessment.

    So, on club sites all play areas, ball parks etc are closed. Not sure if / when they will open.

    We are looking at an affiliated site in Scotland, their playground is open, as are most of the council ones up here, so no idea why the Club ones are closed.

    Has anyone for a more recent experience of a club site? Are playgrounds and fields play ball sports open,?

    Just been to a commercial site end July and playground fully open (except a tunnel) parental supervision required to ensure kids socially distance (this is enforced by site staff) worked well. I'd be sad if playground facilities open on club sites when all councils opened their playgrounds in England on 4  july.

     

    We are booked into New forest centenary site for August...

    Evening

    Play grounds / play areas an ball parks on our sites are opening this weekend. Parents are obviously responsible for their children who should be supervised while using said areas.

    It will be tricky cleaning a ball park!
