Hairline split above front window.

I suspect this is not a new topic so wonder if anyone can advise.

I have a 2006 Bailey Ranger. The front and back panels were replaced under warranty due to hairline cracks from screws.

Last year,  rain started coming down the inside of the front window. It was deemed the window seal needed replacing. This was done and problem was solved.

Last week, 1st time out in the van and, again, rain ran down the inside of the window. 

On closer inspection, there are 2 hairline cracks (see pic of 1). Can these be easily repaired or will it need a new panel? The van is now 14 years old but almost pristine.

    If you are sure that is the ingress point then I would go down to a DIY store and buy some white plastic strip and bond over the top with Sikaflex.

    Hi EasyT, I'm not 100% sure to be honest but I don't know where else it would come in as the seal is new.

    I was wondering about the seal but f they have been in a while with no problem should be OK.

    With caravans water can enter at a higher point and run down but I would get a hose and point the jet at the crack and see what gives,

    I've used Capt Tolley's http://www.captaintolley.com/ in similar circumstances. Once the crack was sealed I put clear waterproof tape over the area. https://uk.gorillaglue.com/gorilla-products/

    If at all possible the crack needs to be stop drilled to prevent it propagating further before sealing over.
