I’m wanting to take my 4 year old to visit the royal mint, to be honest it’s more for me than the little one.  Has any one been with there rig I’ve been lead to believe parking isn’t an issue but I’m really after advice on where to camp for the night in the motor home, we will be coming down from Cumbria.

Any advice and recommendations I would be truly grateful.

thanks

Scott

    Where is these days?

Have you checked it on Google Earth for parking and sites in the area?

I don't know how suitable the Royal Mint visit is for a 4 year old but Cardiff Caravan and Camping is within half an hour's drive.

I would suggest that while you are in the area you include a visit to St Fagans open air museum too, but it hasn't reopened yet after lockdown.

I’m not sure if it’s the same place but google calls it "our welsh caravan and camping" that’s just outside of Cardiff. It’s shut until 2021.

St Fagans is on the list, I want to take some photos of the war mayoral.

The little one wants to make her own pennies at the royal mint, they do a program called strike your own where you press your own coin and get it put on a mounting card.  I just hope it’s not gold sovereigns as it’s will cost a fortune.
