Club sites normally allow you to choose your pitch from the type required or booked from those available at the time of arrival. You keep this pitch for the duration of your stay unless the warden says you can do otherwise. Commercial/private sites may do things differently.

When leaving your pitch to go out for the day, the accepted thing is to leave a marker in place saying "Motorhome using this pitch". You can buy these at reception on club sites and from various other suppliers or make your own. Our home made one also bears our reg number. Many people also leave items on the pitch when they go out such as EHU cable or chairs.

There are signs available from numerous sources  including  cc site ofices that advise a "motorcaravan is useing this pitch" some can be personalised with you reg number we also left out EHU lead on the pitch

On the majority of cc sites you chose your pitch from those available, they are not  normally allocated     also the site staff will not get the "blame?" for giving you an "unsuitable"pitchwink

If you do leave your EHU cable, please unplug it first from the bollard.
