Awning

Hi,

Complete newbie here so please go gently. We have acquired an Isabella Capri lux 670 awning for our old Avondale caravan. It hasn't come with any instructions, and looking on the makers website, I can't see anything resembling ours. All of the awnings on there have carbon fibre poles. Ours are metal. Do any of you kind people have a similar awning and could advise us on how the frame goes together. We managed to get the canvas attached to the van ok. Thanks in advance for your help.

Jeff

    Hi Jeff.

Any chance of a pic of your awning canvas?

Have you looked on >>> this <<< website if it helps.

One thing I would say, once you get the frame poles sorted, colour code them so you know better what you're doing next time.  It makes thing so much easier.

As Easy T suggests, I would think the poles will assemble together in much the same way as the one shown in the video.

One other thing I would say is, have a practice at home at which point you can do the colour coding, or close to home if possible as it might save you some embarrassment doing it first time on site.

    Good luck with it.

Hello there. I find myself in a similar situation. The Isabella website lists every awning under the sun other than the Capri Lux. Wondering if you managed to get hold of any instructions (we’re complete newbies too). Cheers. B

    Edit:

Just seen the YT video in the thread. Wish me luck!
