Has anybody had any dealings with Ageas the clubs insurers for the above. We unfortunately had a burst pipe and they (Ageas) are less than helpful. 2 hours to get through on helplines, a club officer was on at least one hour and had to give up. This policy is not what is expected from the club.

Don't waste time on the phone. Get a plumber in to fix the burst pipe, pay him, and send receipt to the insurance company with a copy of your claim.

Already done but it's the plasterer the plumber roofer hire company for dehumidifier and skip to take 3 damaged wardrobes away. All in hand but not what you expect from club policy.

Blimey are this club now into home insurance?

How competitive are they and where do they figure on the comparison sites?

Must say that with my motor insurance (arranged via Nissan) Ageas have been OK with a couple of claims over past few years.

By the way, are they insurers or agents?
