Alde 3010 heating system
Hi all, hoping to get away this weekend but on checking the caravan over the control panel on my Alde Compact 3010 is turning blue indicating its on but I'm unable to read any info as the screen is blank. Anyone had anything similar? Have checked fuses etc but nothing & local emergency guy isn't able to come out anytime soon!! Am thinking we won't need the heating but do I need the control panel for anything else i.e. Will the water automatically warm up? It's only my son & I and want to make sure it's safe. Any help would be appreciated.

I'd doubt you'd get hot water as the system needs to be on .... & if the screen is blank you've no way of knowing what state it's in.
Just as you get the chance to go away something always gets in the way 😞 Unfortunately I can't offer any other suggestions to what you've checked.

Thanks for replying. That's what I was thinking & you're right - there's always something!! Hopefully the engineer will be sooner rather than later!! 😔😔

When our Alde control panel went on the blink, it was the pcb on the boiler rather than the panel, although ours was totally blank. Be prepared for a shock if it is the pcb, it was best part of £300. We couldn't get hot water or heating and unfortunately it was during the winter. Hopefully just a loose wire or something.🤞

Modern technology , were we better of with carver simple stuff ?
