M6 Toll
Can anybody tell me what the current charges for a car and single axle outfit on the M6 toll road is, as the pricing on their website either states car and trailer or the amount of wheels, and what are peoples thoughts whether this route is worth the payment.

I can't find anything other than what I presume you've looked at yourself, i.e. the chart below.
From a personal point of view, I prefer to pay and use the toll road as I feel it's a more pleasant route (if you can consider any motorway a 'pleasant' route). Alternative opinions are available.

Unfortunately since the M6 Toll stopped it's deal with the CMC it more expensive now, it used to be half price on production of your membership car. Like Jill it would be my choice to use it if heading that way, especially during the week when traffic on the M6 can be very heavy. It is a nicer road and has a good services at Norton Canes with caravan/motorhome parking assuming its not full of other vehicles!

I agree with David, the services are a nice half way break for us travelling up and down the country and really nice, a good outside area too if you have a dog with you
