I registered my Motorhome at the end of May for £200. I decided to sell my Motorhome at the beginning of July to swap to a Caravan, they said they can not do caravan insurance. So I had to cancel my Motorhome insurance, they told me the insurance company that they work with (as they are brokers) would reimburse me £70 and they have a £100 cancellation fee - which now means I owe them £30! I would steer clear of this insurance company as it has just cost me £200 for 5 weeks insurance!

My grandson got caught in a similar fashion, be careful when you take out insurance as it not always who you think it is that arranges it. If and when you renew you might find that there is a brokerage fee that bumps up the cost from your first year too.
