Back in December we booked a trip on the Fellsman Train from Crewe to Carlisle via the Settle line.  The trip is for the 15 July 2020 in a first class carriage which has complimentary tea, coffee and biscuits.  Although train company has devised a first class safety plan Mrs One is not comfortable in travelling.  
If any couple is interested in replacing us please let me know and we will inform the train company and send you all the details. This trip has been paid for in full and is therefore a gift from us.  E-mail:  dtl@lineone.net

    What a lovely gesture, I hope someone will feel comfortable to accept your generous offer.

    Its important to feel comfortable in whatever you do at any time, more so at present!

    Does this mean you won't be visiting the area after all? I recall your searching for a site.

    We cancelled the CL last week.  Hopefully the owners will be able to let out the pitch

    What a very thoughtful gesture Oneputt. Well done you. 

    Unfortunately we have a Gas Boiler service booked in for next Wednesday.smile However we are trying to stay out of doors for events.

    OP, a lovely generous gesture. Sadly we have decided we are not doing much at the moment as well. I hope someone can take up your offer. We lost a footplate visit and travel on Flying Scotsman a few years ago, but I can fully understand Mrs OP’s reservations. You can take all the precautions you feel necessary, but can do nothing about those around you. Keep safe.

    Very sorry to hear you have lost your trip, having lost a trip to Norway last year I know how these things can happen. Hope you find a taker even at the eleventh hour, there must be someone out there who'd enjoy it.
