This transpennine route will be closed from 8pm this evening to 6am on Monday . That usually that the centre of Holmfirth will be pretty much gridlocked as people try to get onto the A635.

That’s two local transpennine routes difficult this weekend.

    When i worked in that area back in the 1960s the Woodhead Route was closed more often than open in the winterwink
