How do you feel about Nicola threatening border controls entering Scotland, l my self couldn't give tuppence has we only travel around England and Wales and in the future Ireland but for you that like the bonnie isles, do you think she's making a political point and if Scotland get its way and becomes self governing his she warning us that we will have the said controls. Makes me think that's her agenda on the future of Scotland.

It's laughable and unenforceable and Scotland knows it needs to keep Westminster on side. I'll say no more as we're in danger of becoming political, if we haven't already. Best left there I think.

I give it half an hour for EGG to wake up and this thread will be shut. Purely speculation and not at all helpful at this time.

    I also agree with JVB.👍

Unacceptable perhaps, although I don't see it as unenforceable as TW states. There are relatively few major routes into Scotland. Therefore it would be possible to control movement of much of the traffic, if required. ANPR could be used to track down those that escaped.

Public health expert Professor Devi Sridhar, an adviser to Ms Sturgeon’s administration, suggested on Sunday that people arriving from England might have to be screened, tested or placed in quarantine if the number of cases goes back up there.

Sturgeon said later that she did not rule out quarantine for English entering Scotland at some future time but it wasn't a present course of action.
