Scottish Sites

With an expected higher than usual demand for sites across the UK, why are so many sites in Scotland apparently closed for the season. Morlich,Kinlochewe,Altnaharra and even the Camping and Caravan Club's site at Poolewe too. With so little in the way of private sites and CL's I'm surprised this is so.Is this that it's been deemed likely there will be no demand?

    More remote sites, less footfall, less profit, wardens sent to assist on  profitable sites elsewhere.

    A very short season for some too, with holidays starting up later in Scotland.
