Rowntree Park - re-opening

On the day (4th July) which is a Saturday up to 97 outfits will be arriving within a short period of time using the site access roads of Clementhorpe and Terry Avenue. If you are one of these please note Terry Avenue is extremely busy (much more than normal) with many cyclist and pedestrians so be very careful. Please do not arrive early and block the access roads up (as has happened in the past) for residents and those driving to use the Park next door. (It may have been much more sensible for the club in considering local residents) to have a phased re-opening of this site 
Note: Bishopthorpe Road now has temporarily one way traffic for Vehicles. Also large queues form at some of the general shops on a Saturday (Monday to Friday okay.) 
On the plus side York city centre is starting to reopen and there has only been only one new case of COVID-19 reported over recent weeks. Enjoy your visit.

I've made this a 'read only' thread so people can note the details regarding the temporary one way system but to avoid a duplication of the discussion on re-opening arrival times in general.

    As I understand it, anyone booked to arrive on the 4th will be phoned in advance and given a time slot from 09:00 to arrive. So not 97 at once.
