Swimming pools
Disappointed that the government haven't said swimming pools can open.We have booked 2 CMC sites with pools because we thought that after 4 months of lock down we'd finally be able to swim. Will there be a reduction in campsite fees ?

From the Seacroft website. In the event that the pools remain unavailable for use, we will provide members with a complimentary price reduction of £5 during high season and £2.50 during mid-season. Site staff will provide the discount upon payment when arriving at the site.

Trust me, you wouldn’t want to be in a public swimming pool at the moment. A self contained one, as part of a nice cottage, family members only, you’d be fine. But not a public one.
Check out the individual website pages for the Sites with Pools. All the price reduction details are on there.

Being in a chlorinated swimming pool is probably just about as safe as you can get regarding Covid 19 transmission, shades of Trump's infamous 'couldn't we inject folks with bleach ?' Statement.
It's the changing rooms and mingling and not social distancing that are the problem.
If an included and paid for facility is not available then surely a price difference is appropriate.
