Thanks very much Rowena. I will be visiting Tewkesbury Club Site first on 14th July for 3 nights. I haven't been there before so really looking forward to it. Don't intend to be using the shower block and will keep myself very much to myself. I do anyway. It will be nice to start spending some of those site vouchers I invested in. I expect it will take some time   to spend all £2000 worth.

We have an 8 club site tour starting on the 26th july unless we get the "second wave" that might make for another "stay at home" that our age is "requested we do"

    Evening

Yes Ro, it's good news and we are looking forward to the 4th. We just hope everyone will understand that things will be slightly different than previous times (the new normal). We're working hard this week getting our site ready for our members to enjoy the great outdoors. At present we have a fully booked site over the opening weekend, let's hope the sun shines eh?JK

We're off to Devon, not too far from home, one short break on Exmoor and another on the coast. Later on we're heading north. Will be using our own facilities and hope to enjoy some country walks. Good luck to all those venturing forth, keep well and safe. smile

We’re off to Cirencester Park on the 4th. I’d like to say I’m looking forward to it, but a bit apprehensive about the approach road.

Good luck Freddy - it's a lovely site,  one of our favourites - and hopefully they'll have sorted something out by then - the cricket and tennis clubs are bound to be busy that Saturday so that road will get a good testing!  smile

Yes, we’ve been a few times (not too far from us) Was lucky one time, as they were playing cricket, so we sat and watched for a while, which was nice 🙂 The walk through the park into town is good, just need to check if it’s open, as I seem to have a vague notion that it’s been closed.

    Evening

So, with 135 arrivals on open day, and with all those slots sorted, we hope we gave got everything sorted JV. Who knows? This will be a learning curve for us all, best to have positive thoughts eh? At the end of the day those folks have chosen our site as their destination  for their post lockdown holiday. We will do our best to provide a safe and enjoyable environment for them. We're excited, apprehensive, positive and a big bag of other emotions but over all we're just "bring it".laughing

Rowena thankyou to all the staff and the wardens, getting sites ready so we can all enjoy our club. We are off to Ferry Meadows from the 12th of july for a week but keeping an eye on Sandringham in case anything comes available for the same week, did notice this morning theirs 7 days available at Sandringham this morning when their was none yesterday, so maybe a chance to change but if not will still enjoy our week at Ferry Meadows
