Will the toilet/shower blocks be re-opening with some sort of usage policy/restrictions?

Are you going off at a tangent?

I think hairdressers are in the same situation as the CAMC. No decision has yet been made, July 4th is the earliest date for there reopening. They may, or may not get the green light.
I watched interviews on TV news yesterday with a campsite owner, hairdresser and restaurant owner. None of them had yet received any government guidance on required protocols. So we're doing there best to anticipate what they might be.
Depending on how long before the potential 4th July kick off they are communicated / what work they require, could affect there opening.

So we have a 2mtr social distancing ,there is now a fair probability that it could be reduced to 1mtr ?but as the real expert said on tv yesterday , if it is reduced he would feel comfortable with that IF masks were also made mandatory in all public areas
How much has been spent by companies on 2 mtr signs and working out spacing in public areas

If allowed, the club will open the communal facilities. There will be a non-staffed monitoring system in place and, as always the onus of responsibility is on the individual to stay safe.
Reception processes, each one will be slightly different. However, only one person will be allowed in the reception at a time.

Noticed the below paragraph re opening of facilities in an article in today's telegraph. From supposed government sources.

It seems we will find out tomorrow. Perhaps that will end the speculation - or raise more questions than it answers. 🤔

We will be in a camp all on our own😁

Not that i will be going anywhere in the UK, but i think there is some confusion surrounding the word "Campsite" e.g. tents only, which some are so, facilities to remain closed ,could very well equal "not to open" and "Campsites" e.g. for caravans/MH's with onboard facilities "could open", personally i think the latter to be the case.

I am loving the fact that you can fly to Spain now for a holiday, but can’t go on a UK site yet, or a cottage..........
I think the fag packets are being shuffled badly now..............😂

I thought the bit I read about the plane being packed but they all wore masks 😷 rather frightening.🤧 Particularly when they said they only took them off to eat a breakfast baguette. How long does it take to fly to Spain? Could they really not wait.?😖

well the FCO is still advising against all non essential travel, but Spain, desperate for cash, have just flung virtually everything open as of today. My daughter who lives in Spain is furious at the cavalier actions as are many others, only time will tell as to the eventual outcome, good or bad.

The caravan and motor home club, the camping and caravan club and the BHHPA (British Holiday & Home Parks Association Ltd) are all lobbying the government today regarding the article published in the Daily Mail and the Mirror yesterday. It states that campsites will have to wait longer than the 4th July to re open.
Now it seems the CMC assumed they could open on the 4th July and had not been officially advised that they could open.
The BHHPA are urging all their members (the sites) to lobby the government before the announcement being made by Bojo tomorrow.
Thoughts please

We seem to have been speculating for months when and how campsites will reopen. It would help if Government showed a bit more clarity of message. If they are linking everything to their traffic light system why have they not provided a comprehensive list of when certain segments of the economy can reopen depending on where the traffic lights are? That way everyone would know the answer. It might mean a slower reversal of the lockdown but we would have a better idea about things. It sometimes seems the devolved Parliaments seem to be moving forward in a more logical manner than the national Government.

There’s a limit to what you can get on the back of a fag packet DK😂 Quite simply, the thoughts, actions, implications are not all working in tandem. It’s a free for all, depending on whether you favour economy or health, are happy home schooling or wish you had never given birth, are desperate for a pair of Primark knickers or happy to buy online!
Different attitudes, everyone making up their own minds now. We call it the Cummings Model.......

Personally i think that comment is a bit below the belt, but moving on.
what would your answer be to the possible risk of having just 1 case of corvid-19 proven on a site with 100 units on it, and this person possibly being the warden ?
a. lock down the site for 14 days and test everybody, which could be a logisitcal nightmare in some parts of the country, and even more of a nightmare if some people end up too sick to either go to the facilities if open, or manage their own facilities.
b. send those that are able to travel home with the risk of 100+ people now moving throughout the country carrying the virus
c. as for a after completing b but possibly not so many people on site as some have been sent home.
c. not having to contend with a/b/c by keeping sites closed.
Probably not a realistic scenario but for sure some of these questions will have to be answered before sights are opened i guess, facilities or no facilities.
