I see from a reminder email today, that the I.o.W is still closed to visitors and touring!

    We're all closed for touring, Triky, other than day trips.

    Red Funnel/Wight Link  is running a very reduced service - no Red Jet or Fast Cat Service and only accept essential travel bookings

    Nowhere wants tourists at the moment. Take note of the tourist boards pleas to not visit, and respect the locals' safety.

    Sorry Triky ,my Brother ,was saying there are very many "Oldies" on the island, many with already underlying  health problems  and as with some other tourist places in the UK ,they have not the facilities to cope with tourists normally, without the threat from the virusfrown

    ps ,We will also not be going this year even IF we were in the New Forest againsurprised

    undecided Yes ,i know John,,they sent me packing in March ..Their latest (21st) is 176 effected.When i left on the 25th ,it was only 2 ,,and they were in hospital already .Looking forward to getting back there though !! wink
