C L bookings July
Quick question. Are CL’s allowed to take bookings for July? I am able to book club sites but im looking for some CLs for the end of July. Do they have the same rules as the club sites? I am happy to pay a deposit knowing that it could be cancelled but live in hope.

Why not? It'll be up to each individual CL owner. You could contact them and ask.

We are taking bookings from 1st July onwards now on the understanding we will cancel them if we have to. We are not taking deposits until we definitely know we will be open.
I also know of plenty of other CL owners doing the same so, as Tinwheeler says, contact them and ask.
You can check our availability calendar via our website and book online.

Well, I for one sincerely hope that one of the good things that come out of this awful situation is that the CL network receives an overdue boost to its usage. Good luck one and all😁

Fully agree with that and given the price of some club sites it looks good. I've noticed over the weeks of lockdown that a lot more cl owners are making comments on here. Keep it up, it's good publicity.
On a personal note I feel to apprehensive to venture out at the minute. There's still to much uncertainty for my liking. Who knows what the next few weeks will turn up.

As Shropshire CL Owners, we will comply wth government guidelines for England and open when the CAMC allows us to do so.
I've just seen the following reply, posted today by 'Jess', on the CAMC FaceBook page, giving 4th July as the earliest date to re-open -
"...We did only cancel bookings up to the end of June originally and today we have been told that the booking system will now not let people book from before the 4th July ( in line with government guidelines). It is a tricky one to handle but it is no different to a site needing to be cancelled last minute due to say flooding or snow. We are not privy to any Government information earlier than the public, so we can't make any fixed plans. ^ Jess"My comment - 4th July is the earliest date set in the (English) Government 'roadmap' for re-opening 'Stage 3', which covers hospitality such as pubs and accommodation. The CAMC is simply coming into line with this guidance - the only issue I have with this is that it has leaked via FB and is not on the CAMC website, or emailed to CL Owners. This will lead to confusion over CL bookings.
We are accepting bookings from 4th July onwards.Ian Kelly

CL sites in ENGLAND have been notified that they can take bookings from the 4TH OF JULY by the Club, on the understanding that this is the best estimate of the current restrictions.
Wales, Scotland and Northern Ireland will differ.
Most CLs who previously took deposits are waiving this requirement until dates are more certain. Refunding deposits is rather time-consuming!
Those who are on Facebook may wish to follow the page called https://www.facebook.com/clbooking which will bring you updates on availability from the CL Owners Group.

We are currently accepting online bookings from 4th July 2020.
Soon we will be able to again welcome CAMC members looking for a peaceful countryside site on the edge of the beautiful village of South Newington in North Oxfordshire (North Cotswolds) . Our CL is a private, secluded site surrounded by mature native trees, shrubs and hedges on all sides. The Off-Grid site including the wooded areas extends to 1.8 acres of which the maintained grassed pitching area is 0.8 acres, this allows spacious non-designated grass pitches together with 2 hardstanding areas. Online booking & lots more info/images, 100+ 5 Star reviews etc on our website https://newtongrove.co.uk/1
