Thanks for that LL👍🏻. I enjoyed that but was shocked at the supposed ‘Marques’ that figured, German & Brit being worst🤷🏻‍♂️. I’m happy to say not one of the 15 have ever minutely interested me👍🏻😊

Aye she’s a big beggar. I changed the colour too. . .I’ll never buy another black vehicle. I know I don’t wash my vehicles regularly but black vehicles attract dirt way too quickly😂

They show the dirt even worse than white ones. My Kuga was dirty before I'd put the bucket and chamois away.

Well LL about 18months ago I stopped the Tree surgery & the like so I decided I no longer needed the Isuzu DMax, I started looking at SUV’s. I looked & drove a lot. Then decided I didn’t want to downsize after all & bought another DMax🤷🏻‍♂️🙄😊. I just love pick ups. This one is a 1.9ltr not 2.5ltr.

Sounds great Rocky. It’s hard to downsize when you get used to all the space........😁

It is, I so tried but my wife was more swiftly dismissive than me🤷🏻‍♂️. To use her words-“we need a wide vehicle because my chauffeur is all elbows”🤣🤣. I still like to collect logs & do a bit of ‘woody stuff’ & having the equivalent of a high up estate just didn’t work😕. I had an Isuzu Trooper which was great but the smell of wet Dog was hard to stomach, with a pickup the wet Dog is hidden👍🏻👏🏻👏🏻

Funnily enough, I am the one who likes big cars as well. As you say, great for wood foraging👍

Very interesting, and surprising with a couple of exceptions the list is made up of high end expensive cars. Swopped from Discoveries to my Kia Sorento a few years ago, might not be the most suffisticated car on the road but for reliabilty it knocks spots of my previous discoveries. My wife has the Carens 2007 model and that has been ace as well apart from road tax which is now £300+ undecided

well i was surprised at how many German cars were involved, not a mechanic by any stretch, but always said that cars came with too many electrical gadgets and would be prone to failure this was seemed to be the case, although my last Discovery £5k for new gear box, transfer box and clutch when vehicle was probably only worth £6k did it for me.

Electrical failures with equipment that is very rarely made in the UK, Bosch is quite a big supplier to German owned /made vehiclessurprised

Have not noted any German made kit in our Kiawink

Electrical failures with equipment that is very rarely made in the UK,

Not sure what you mean by that .... but if you're saying that UK/British made is best, just think of Lucas .... the Prince of Darkness 😄
