Hi all, hope you are all well.  I am looking into trying CL site's and this is most likely a question that has been asked before.  Is there a list of fully serviced CL site's anywhere.   Any advice would be very helpful.

There’s a list in the CLs section under UK sites. It’s a sticky, you need to scroll down to get to the link😁

I know you have been directed to the CL ‘sticky’ but thought I would reply with the one we stayed at in early March which was at Flamborough near Bridlington.  High Breame, all fully serviced pitches.  It was great, nice owners and we would love to go again!!

My recommendation too.  We used to stay with John and Kim at least twice a year, just after they opened but, now, we have to book months in advance.  We're supposed to be there in mid-July but we'll have to wait and see what happens re the current restrictions.

If you wish to experience the true delights of CLs, especially the lack of rigid pitching, then I suggest you try a grass pitch in the summer.

Agree, but I rather think that there is going to be a lot of usage of CLs as they will be considered safer in terms of not picking up the virus, so expect to see a lot more Members using CLs. I suspect there will be lots of outfits that will never have rolled a wheel on grass ever before. But it’s what suits individuals, their choice.

As Munro him/herself has admitted! His/Her was the OP in New to Caravanning and Motorhome section asking for advice on levelling on grass so he/she is considering it.

Not sure if there are any fully serviced CLs that are on grass. I've usually only seen them on H/S. Then again there are one or two still to get to.smile

Did you have a look at the recommendations on your other thread about levelling on grass?

There are lots of good suggestions and I think for the Northumberland area you would find Brandon Ford an excellent introduction to using cl sites; very easy to pitch and as it's a fairly new site everything is clean and tidy😊

High Breame at Flamborough is on grass with serviced pitches.  There is one hardstanding area - as an 'extra' if the grass gets too boggy, which we know it can, having spent three Christmases theretongue-out

    davetommo,

If you mean how do you save the map I would open the link and then bookmark the page within my browser.

Hope that answers the correct question?

The map still shows Brayton Hall, Aspatria in Cumbria which unfortunately closed a while ago.

I am surviving just, life is very quiet at this time, the CL is in need of rain and visitors. I just hope we can start in July as I have so many regulars wanting to stay. I find my CL is fun to have, meet so many lovely people and yes it helps top up hte pension .
